Larry and Marilyn Marshall started Marshall Disposal in July of 2000; picking up the first bag of garbage in Marilyn’s mini-van. After the argument about using the mini-van, Larry started using his pick-up truck, while Marilyn ran the business operations from their home in New Harmony. It did not take long for the Marshalls to realize the need for an actual garbage truck. On January 1, 2025, Marshall Disposal was purchased by Zachary & Amanda Goebel, Larry and Marilyn's son-in-law and daughter. The Goebel's mission and vision is to continue providing the best possible service to our communities. Marshall Disposal now operates 27 garbage trucks, providing quality service to over 12,000 customers!
